Completely asynchronous with weekly tutorial sessions led by TA's to go over e-text MyLab questions. The course serves as an introduction to macroeconomic variables and theories. Thus, the content is watered down and made easy to understand through simplifying assumptions. Though content is relatively easy, there is a lot to memorize and tie together.
For Gateman's asynchronous classes, watch video lectures in advance or at the very least on schedule. If for some reason his video lectures get confusing for certain topics, read the textbook. Even though lecture content mostly overlaps with textbook content, it is best to consolidate information from his lectures with information from the textbook as both items are examinable. On rare occasions, what is covered in the lecture will be missing from the text (and vice versa). If the class uses MyLab, ensure that you master the Study Plan questions and mini-quizzes before moving on to do the assigned and graded quizzes.
