It's a difficult class because it's easy to get behind if you don't attend lectures and you don't keep up with the material, but if you keep up with the quizzes and study well you can definitely succeed. It's a class that heavily depends on how much effort you put in.
The content is definitely interesting and useful. I think anyone would take an interest in this course; it's a great elective but the course load is not light.
He's quite cold and never answers questions directly. However, he is passionate and he always tries to keep us entertained in class.

Completely asynchronous with weekly tutorial sessions led by TA's to go over e-text MyLab questions. The course serves as an introduction to macroeconomic variables and theories. If you master the content that MyLab quizzes you on and ensure that your understanding of overall course concepts and theories is above surface-level then succeeding in Econ ...read more

I took it online and the exams were all multiple choice. I found the course really interesting. Though the recorded lectures were a bit boring sometimes. Gateman as a prof was great!!
Go to class and do all the practice questions and you'll be just fine!
