course content is interesting. Out of touch with realit and how the human brain processes information (online format, summer)
Lessons and assignments delve too deeply into laws, details of food bylaws. Sequence of information has no cohesion and some information is bzzarely presented and the student is just supposed to suck it up and memorize it.
making quizzes on canvas openable only with lockdown browser is very counter productive to put it diplomatically. Makes students' lives miserable. Impedes learning. Is a very illogical decision, no rationale was provided that made sense.
If you're thinking of an elective to hit credit liits, avoid this course LIKE THE PLAGUE. UBC IS THE HOME OF EXPENSIVE GPA DESTROYERS WITH OVER CONFIDENT PROFESSORS who will inadvertently sabotage your learningwith how out of touch they are. Only people exceling are certain cliques of students who get notes from higher years (hint) I should have took an equivalent elective from TRU for a quarter of the proice and a fraction of the pain this course caused me.

Fun course, she gave us treats every once in a while and content was interesting as well! Also, her dad came in to guest lecture and it was the cutest thing ever.
Type your cheat sheet with the smallest font and include all the information and there's your A :)
