I loved the flipped classroom approach. Watched the pencasts before lectures to get a grasp on the material, and then solidified my understanding with the in class worksheets.

One of the most useful stats courses- gives you a wide range of statistical tests and how to use them properly.

I think they have a group exam portion which i wouldn't like

I enjoyed statistics before taking this course. I wish I could still say the same. If you take STAT 300 there will be no textbook, you will be required to pre-read a theory-heavy document and complete an assignment before every lecture (M/W/F), and you will be graded for your performance in every lecture. The course is "reverse-classroom", so the mandatory lectures serve the purpose of "reinforcing concepts" via quizzing you, rather than teaching the concepts.

If you are interested in learning intermediate statistics, just download the syllabus. The only purpose of this course is to give you an outline of what you should learn by yourself.
