A really enjoyable course on global politics/IR. Essay prompts were interesting and thoughtful. Great lectures which are recorded allowing for students to review them afterwards or watch them if they were not in class.

An intro course on global politics that covers many of the big subfields of IR: theory, security, international political economy, etc. The course does a good job of introducing these ideas with sufficient depth without reaching a point of covering too many advanced concepts.

Dr. Sens is a great prof that is very knowledgeable on Global Poliltics. His lectures are very engaging and interesting and he makes an effort to try and learn the names of students that participate in lectures.

Try and get a jumpstart on some of the material by watching the video series on YouTube. It might not make the most sense at the time but it can sort of being a preview of some of the big ideas that the course will cover. Don't worry about reading the textbook in significant depth; a lot of chapters are covered. Look for the main points after each section of a chapter, and then trace back for any terms that are bolded/highlighted in the text and note down those definitions.

Amazing class, would recommend to anyone!
