This class used to be for business and computer science and data analytics students only, but was reworked to fit the requirements of the CPA. I'm an accounting student and still believe this course is useless. Topics are very disjointed and grading is highly biased. The profs do not grade projects, it is the TAs. TAs typically add value to the university experience and learning of students. To anyone who chooses to TA this course, I hope you know that you aren't adding as much value as you think.

The content of this course has potential to be useful. The most useful parts were data visualization and PowerBI, because of the execution of its implementation in the course. Everything else, however, is utterly useless. Final exam multiple choice questions do not test you on application of theory. They simply test you on your ability to remember specific terminologies and definitions that are abysmally worded. The course packs too much content with so little time, and clearly is a course that used to be a GPA booster, and so they decided to make it difficult.

Sabrina was a highlight in this class. She was very patient, engaging, and clearly shows interest in the success and learning of students. Zorana and Alym speed through content, regurgitating info that you can already read in the slides. Watching the lecture videos is useless for your actual learning of the content, but is imperative if you want a fighting chance in passing the multiple choice, as most questions will test specifically on something they said in the video (it will typically be something that doesn't seem important).

Your grade depends on the final exam and on if the TAs have a favorable bias towards you and your group.
