Very dry class, a number of different topics are explored but none are actually looked at in depth so you kind of learn nothing about everything. Profs were great but there’s only so much they can do to make a course like this enjoyable. Assignment criteria are vague and assignments are generally time consuming but not difficult. Concepts are easy to understand but generally not actually practical outside of this course with some exceptions such as income statements.

Participation is a pretty good chunk of the grade, be sure to submit breakout exercises and speak in class. Put effort into things like formatting and making assignments presentable (this will impact your grade). Don’t put too much effort into this course at the expense of your other ones since there is very little you can do to improve your grade beyond a certain point, and the majority of time it’s unclear how anyways.
