The course is not properly structured. The professor quickly brushes on topics and ideas while mostly narrating stories that may or may not be related to the cardiovascular topic. Generally, sitting in the class is not useful. The practical part is a little better, because at least students get to briefly see a few basic cardiovascular measurement processes.
The course content is not well-structured and is not delivered in an effective and productive/practical manner. There are a large amount of information thrown into each module and the professor touches on some of them fast during the class. It is not clear what information are the core information to learn and which ones are the supporting information. It is as if going to a bookstore and finding a lot of information on cardiovascular-related and indigenous topics. I would not have taken this course if I knew what I would get back from my investment.
The professor could be more professional and considerate. Basically, not a helpful professor. The class vibe he was communicating was more like filling the time to get it done rather than a learning and academic interaction environment. He did admit that the markings are heavily skewed by his opinion about a student and not objective measurement criteria. Maybe if this course was delivered by a different professor, it would could have been a a good course.

There was really no structured or semistructured teaching. - I wish I knew that the course was unstructured, and the markings in any area from the paperwork to the video presentation, etc all could be heavily influenced by the professors' opinions/judgement about your character-- rather than by objective measures. Imagine being in a group work where group members are assigned, when the two other g...read more
