It was a pretty uninteresting course, and we got very little feedback throughout the term so I don't really know how I've improved as a writer. Consisted of a bunch of scaffolded assignments throughout the term, 6 required readings (15-20 pages) with a group discussion for each. For the group discussion you have to write a summary and critical analysis for one of the readings. There is no final, but theres a research paper worth about 60% of the grade and it's done in a pair.

The research paper is done in a pair so really make sure you both work, set deadlines and meet often. Don't lose communication or put off the paper cause it can pile up. Prof will post assignment guidelines 2 days before the scaffolded assignments are due which is a really tough turnover you just have to get used to it. Only the final paper guidelines get posted a month in advance.
