Course content is easy to understand

Duffy is a great professor! Sometimes the course content might seem boring but his jokes always make it much more interesting. His lecture is super fun and I really enjoy it.

Don't cram for the final essay. Attend class in-time since you will be evaluated by your attendance at the end of the term.

- helpful course that teaches how to write scholarly papers - the course went in baby steps so it was easier to adjust to university style writing - small class size (around 30 people)

- follow the KGQPIEPIE method properly - choose research articles you're actually interested in and can comment on (ex: as a student, you're probably more comfortable to propose changes to ubc's food system rather than on specific scientific research like enzymes affecting food)
