Pretty technical linguistics course, but if you're going in for a Ling major it definitely gives you the building blocks you need. There's a looot of work throughout the course, but the final and midterm aren't too difficult if you've kept up with it. Aside from the workload, I really enjoyed learning how to identify patterns and study a variety of global languages.

There are 5 homework assignments (lowest score dropped, 4 graded) but they're worth 40% of your grade. Spend time on them!! The grading is pretty harsh, but they're the key to success in this class if you put enough work into them.
