The class is quiz-heavy, with two midterms and one final. There are weekly quizzes that have 2 questions each that are based on that week's content. That means you're practically never going to be weeks behind on end, which is good if you tend to fall behind. That being said, professor challenger gives non-graded homework after every lecture and he does not provide the answers to the Homework. Although the HW isn't graded, you need it to study for the weekly quizzes.

I don't like math. BUT Dr. Challenor made me actually enjoy math a bit!! Lectures went by so fast which means he's so good at engaging his students. I loved his lecturing style. He's great at walking students through questions, especially ppl who struggle. Best math professor I've had at Davis so far.
> Use online derivative, antiderivative, and other calculators to confirm ur HW answers. > Pray ur discord is active and ppl help each other out with the HW answers. It went well for me with everyone's document sharing.

This course was pretty challenging overall. Homework wasn't "required" but DEFINITELY do it if you want a passing grade in the class. Office hours were also extremely helpful
Very fair with grading and had a really big curve. You could tell he cared a lot about the class and wanted everyone to pass
