ETX 101 is such an amazing class because of Dr. Wood. This class brings in concepts from Biology, Chemistry, and Toxicology and intertwines them in an interesting way. A super engaging course that will teach out a lot of broad-scale topics on E Tox.

Course content is especially relevant for forensics majors but any STEM major should be able to not only enjoy this class but find relevancy in the content as it can be applicable to many other classes.

Dr. Wood is amazing and clearly cares about his students and how they learn the material. Provides clear instructions on how to do assignments and provides more than enough materials to be able to review for the exams.

Brush up on basic bio, chem, and ochem if you would like to understand these topics on a more complex level. While this course goes over that minimally, I found it beneficial to apply what we learned in other courses to this class to have a deeper understanding of the course content.
