Overall, it's a good course. Subject matter is on the basics of signals and systems, and for the most part, you're doing math.
Mainly covers mathematical concepts used in signal analysis like Fourier transform, convolution...It's all theory, but sets up for future signal courses should you take them.
I had a great experience with this professor. He is always very helpful and accommodating. He's all about working hard. He referred to our class as his team and him as our coach. The exams are similar to homework, but a bit harder.
My main advice would be to dedicate time to practice. Most of the problems involve a lot of math, so you might have to brush up on calculus.
This professor is probably the best for this course.
