I only took this class to fulfill a history prereq and I didn’t wanna take any facts-heavy history course. Class is discussion heavy, but in a good way. Most of the semester it’s a couple students basically presenting the lesson to the class. Bare minimum do the readings/discussion assignments (literally did it 1-2 hrs before class every week) and raise your hand once a day to make a comment. No right or wrong answers. Through the semester, just from discussions, there’s a fat sense of community among classmates. Very open, approachable vibes.

Gandhi and Ambedkar and Indias history during the early 20th century. Not really useful for me personally.

Professor Paik is awesome. Super friendly and open. If I had to take more history courses I’d 100% get one with her.

I wish I knew how chill the vibes were, I woulda been more engaging in discussions earlier in the semester.
