Interesting course content and is very useful. Quizzes are unfortunately very hard because of the way they are structured. Each quiz has 2-4 numerical response questions so each question is worth 25% or even 50% of the quiz grade, and half marks are not given even for putting the wrong sign. The midterm and final were fair to my recollection. Definitely a hard course but the applications are very useful and coming out with a high grade is possible if you put in the effort.

This professor is rude and arrogant. He and his TA are unhelpful and unaccommodating. This prof skips steps in his examples, his assignment solutions are often full of errors. He examples and assignments barely gloss over the concepts you need to know to write his tests. Due to COVID there were 11 weekly quizzes with 4 questions where the response was a numerical answer and no points for work shown? Most of the class waxed wildly from 0-100 on these tests.

Try to take this class in the fall with a different prof. The assessment may be the same but you may have a fighting chance with someone who can actually teach.
