The material is really interesting and I had a great professor. This class starts off pretty easy, gets quite hard at population genetics (exam 2), and stays moderately difficult afterwards. Textbook might bump you a letter grade so I'd recommend it.

Attend all lectures, pay attention, take notes especially in the middle of the course, and practice population genetics problems. Don't use just powerpoints but also lecture videos and textbook.
