Grade is made up of 11 quizzes (open note), 4 exams, and a final exam. 1 quiz and 1 exam gets dropped. However, at the end of the semester he dropped an additional 2 quizzes because of covid and having to take the class online. Online lectures were not mandatory, I probably attended about half. I did better reading the textbook for the chapter quizzes. He gives an exam review for each exam that is very similar to the actual exam.

Don't get behind on chapters and take good notes for the quizzes.
