The programs are extremely easy IF you genuinely know how to code. A lot of mechs "knew" how but struggled. CS will have an easy time. The project is what you make it. You can make it extremely easy, and should. If you make it hard and can't achieve it, you will get a bad grade. The exams are hell on purpose. Don't cram for the exams the night before, it is too much info for that. This class is often ignored by people in senior design who think it's easy - don't do that. You'll get a bad exam grade.

Anyone not from a CS background will need to spend time on the code. Make your project easy and only 1-2 people. Do not cram for the exams.
