This class was horrible in all aspects. Mikusinski’s accent was so thick that I couldn’t understand half of what he said, and the textbook was even more confusing than Mikusinski himself.

If you get Mikusinski as your professor for this class, leave while you have the chance. Save yourself.

Calc 1 in general is a tough course. This prof did not take time or care enough to make the workload more attainable, or even lecture efficently.

Most of the "learning" comes from a software called Newton Alta, which gives questions based on how well you did on the previous question. Most assignments usually took me about 2 hours with 3-5 a week.

The professor seemed nice but didn't make an effort to lecture efficiently. He also last minute announced when the lectures are which conflicted with 2 of my other classes.

Take calculus in high school, or take it transient at another school because this class was not worth the tuition.
