Prof: Reyes / Fall 2022

Very difficult course and it's not taught well at all. Physics 2 is supposed to be a hard course and yet we were completely finished with all the "lectures" by the end of October (standard August-December semester.) I haven't heard of a good lecturer at UCF for Physics II so I'm assuming my experience wasn't a fluke. There is just no structure or consistency with the lectures or learning materials.
The content may be useful is you are in Electrical/Computer/Photonic engineering maybe, but other than that it's just more interesting to learn a little bit about how electricity and magnetism works. And when I say little, I mean little.
Professor Reyes is extremely kind, but he just doesn't teach well. Of the 180 students in my class maybe 30 were consistently showing up, and I suspect many were not taking his online, unproctored exams honestly. The grading system is pretty gracious with respect to participation and homework assignments, but still. It's incredibly frustrating to attend lecture, go to the Physics help center ask questions and still not understand a single thing going on.
Take it and get it over with.
