Class is super interesting and he understands that ASL is a difficult language. I went into this class with no prior experience and did great.

Comments on the course

Overall, very fun class with lots of collaboration. It is usually a small class with a lot of group and partner activities. Though not graded, they are fun ways to learn.

Course Content

A couple of projects you can record yourself doing and uploading, but those don't take long. One homework assignment per chapter, those take a while but you will need the book for it (can be found online).

Comments on the professor

The professor is very fun and fosters a safe learning environment. No extra credit is given, but he is pretty lenient with grading as long as you complete every question and try your best in video projects.

Advice

Try to attend every single class session. Not only will this help your grade, but there is a lot of content covered in every class that you do not want to miss.

Very fun class and a useful elective to have.

Course Content

There isn't too much work to be done, about 3-4 assignments every chapter with one 2-3 minute video project every month. Attendance matters with this course. Bill is nice and he cracks jokes every once in a while. Lots of in-class activities, these aren't graded though as they are more geared toward applying what was learned in lecture.
