There is upsetting content covered such as historical mistreatment of latinos throughout many systems, covered latino experiences with racism, and immigration as well as deportation. Teaches the various values of latinx cultures such as concepts of machismo and marianismo, fatalism and familial values. Important class if you want to practice in latinx populations.
