If you're trying to fill up an elective slot, take this course. His powerpoints are very detailed, so if you must miss class, you'll survive. You can get away with missing about 1 in 4 classes without hurting your grade. There are very few assignments, no papers. The assignments are short and the exams are curved. I ended with a 100 in this class, got a 100 on every test.

The content generally covers different ideologies and will discuss arguments for and against religion. It's super interesting if religion is something that interests you.

He's a cool guy and has some interesting stories. You can tell that he's taught this for a while and really enjoys it. He will get sad if people stop showing up, so please try to attend regularly.

No access code for this course. I didn't buy the textbook and got by fine. There are several readings, which are helpful, but I didn't do any of them. If you do bad on the first test, you should do the readings.
