This class is half professional development class and the other half is your internship. This is a great way to get started on a research internship without having to do all the hard stuff like reaching out to a professor/PI and interviewing. I had such an amazing experience and am even continuing my research after the end of this semester. I worked on research involving brain and child development in pregnant women, including those who have been substance exposed.
