Lots of assignments, but if you keep up with Study Edge, it's an easy A.

As a business major, the only transferable skill I got from this class was improving my basic arithmetic and critical thinking. While there were a lot of advanced concepts like differential equations, matrices, Lagrangian multipliers, multivariate calculus, etc., the actual applications to business were very niche and/or are already computerized.

Lectures honestly skip over a lot, so I personally recommend Study Edge unless you have calc knowledge already.

I had already taken Calc 2 in high school, so this class may seemed easier to me than it would to someone taking it for the first time. Compared to a regular Calc 2 class, survey of calc 2 is a breeze.

Lectures are prerecorded. Some of the lectures are easy to understand, but others were really hard to follow.

Professor Knudson is a pretty good professor, but it can sometimes be hard to follow what he is doing.

Something that helped me when I couldn't follow a lecture was to watch his video for extra practice problems for that same lesson. watching him solve the problems step by step was easier sometimes than trying to understand his explanations on how to solve the problem.

Pretty easy besides exam 2 but only if you do the hws/quizzes.

Bad. Relied on AI to teach me.

His lectures are pretty bad, as it is just him talking in front of a slideshow. He assumes you understand his methodology immediately, which can make it easy to get lost. I recommend using AI and watching the extra practice problem lectures for better comprehension. You get to drop an exam, which for me was exam 2 (I got a 50%). Honestly you could just blow off exam 2, use the drop, and conserve your energy for the other three exams. Don't stress about this class too much. Study edge also didn't prepare me properly. Do the assigned hw, quizzes, and practice exams: they are more accurate.
