This is an extremely difficult class, but I actually did feel like I left with something despite the content not being extremely relevant to what I want to do in engineering.

The content is quite difficult and you absolutely MUST put the time into doing all the homework problems and reviewing the solution manual after solving the problems.

Shabanov is a great guy and will always kindly help explain anything. He's got a good sense of humor and is probably the most intelligent professor you'll have-- he understands calculus concepts as well as anybody that's lived on this planet, ever, and is always capable of reducing what he's teaching to a more understandable level.

If you DO put the time in, the tests he gives are easy. If you try to cram for this class right before the test, good luck...
