Great class. Not difficult at all if you attend lectures and review readings and lecture notes before essays. If you reference every reading in your essays and it makes sense, you should get an A. She doesn't grade on opinion but rather on developed answers and reference to course material.

Very informative lecture slides and readings, though I thought that the lecture slides were supplemental to the readings and vice versa. You don't need both unless you're citing for the essays.

Dr. Austin is a great speaker, interesting in what she has to offer, and she cares about her students. This was a big class but she still knew my name somehow, and I'm glad that she'll be my Honors Thesis advisor next semester (Fall 2022).
