The Food Science department is awesome! This class is pretty straightforward and Dr. Sims gives you all the tools you need for success. He's passionate and understanding. There are a lot of lab reports for the lab section of the class, but it's really not that bad. You take your exams during lab sections. He will let you off on some minor mistakes while he's grading your exam, he's pretty generous with grading. He understands his content and he makes it easy for students to understand.

This is useful if you're a food science student. I don't think this applies much to nutrition majors or nursing students.
