Go into the class willing to teach yourself everything that isn’t mentioned in class but IS on the assignments. Coding and data software is like that and requires a lot of self-instruction. Most of the class content is pulled from our textbooks or copied from individual R packages. It helps to go through the user and help sections in R itself for each package she introduces.

Very open to helping you individually if you ask for it. Generally understanding and effective while teaching, but doesn’t adequately prepare students for the assignments.
