Super interesting field of psychology, but the way it’s taught is awful and you don’t actually learn anything.

Your grade is based off of exams. Her in-person class F21 was cancelled, but the online version, we attended lecture once a week. Exams covered several chapters and it was open notes & open textbook. I learned nothing from the course besides where to find exam answers if I skimmed the textbook.

Reads off slides. She’ll add her own slides about facts she thinks are “important”, but she won’t post them so if you miss it, you most likely won’t get it on the exam. She also complained a lot about how bad the textbook and provided slides were, but didn’t do a thing to teach us the correct information.

If this course is in-person, good luck learning anything from the prof. Thoroughly read the textbook because there were dumb questions that asked about very specific numbers rather than big picture info.
