The class was very interesting and Prof. McKee definitely made it very engaging by using a Socratic approach. There was a lot of reading and writing which made it very time-consuming but rewarding nonetheless.

Prof. McKee was very respectful and engaging and made sure to bring different points of view and political stances to keep the course as neutral as possible while allowing us to develop our own opinions and stances on the topics discussed. She was also very flexible when it came to due dates and accommodating to our needs and busy schedules. My only issue with her throughout the semester was the she's a slow grader, we had maybe 3 (out of almost 20) grades overall by the grade submission deadline which meant we all had incompletes at the end of the semester.

Read the course readings as soon as possible. Do not leave the discussions to the last minutes because they'll creep up on you. Some of the assigned readings have summaries at the end of the chapter, I would recommend reading those and then reading the entire chapter if you find the material interesting enough.
