Overall this is probably the most useful class I have taken in the Spanish department at UK, and I have taken some upper 400 level courses. It's so useful because, before I took it, my speaking skills were extremely weak. Afterwards I felt like I could reasonably hold a conversation about many things.

It's a great course. The most important thing is the native conversation project. You are required to do two 30 minute conversations over the topics in class with a Spanish native. It's not as bad as it sounds, and you will be more than ready.
