Comments on the course

I found the content difficult to understand. If you're good at proofs this class won't be an issue for you. Lots of proofs and weird CS logic that doesn't seem useful

Comments on the professor

I did not like this professor. I could barely understand what he was saying, and the lectures were a mess. TA's barely knew what was happening

Advice

Be prepared for the exams. The 2 midterms and final were 75% of the final grade.

Prof: Daniel Orban / Spring 2021

Comments on the course

It's pretty much the same as any other Discrete Math curriculum. Almost all proofs on math topics that loosely tie into CS.

Comments on the professor

Great professor, very caring, but assigned a lot of homework.

Advice

It's not hard if you pay attention. Make sure you understand everything though, exams were always more difficult than I anticipated.
