By far the best math class I've taken here. It felt like learning calculus all over again in a good way, though if you don't have the curiosity for math this could be a slog. Professor gives time during class for homework and encourages collaboration and discussion.

I can't say it has broad application, but the course is certainly good at challenging you to rethink math which I found very helpful.

Professor expected you to put in the work, but was extremely accessible and would sometimes switch topics mid-lesson if someone brought up an interesting tangent. A very encouraging math environment.

Textbook is absolutely required from week 1.
