Somewhat interesting material. As the name implies, the class goes over the history, methods, philosophy, perspectives, etc. of sexuality across many cultures. There are several somewhat large research essays during the semester. They allow you to have some creative freedom and can be entertaining.

I did learn some new things about how different cultures viewed sexuality across time.

Rosemary comments that she does not want to comment too much about how religions/cultures view sexuality becasue she does not want ot offend anyone. I do not know her religious affiliation, but she made several incorrect statements at the expense of Christianity. For example, saying that Jezebel was portrayed badly in the Old Testament purely for being a woman doing her own thing. Jezebel worshipped a demon, Baal, and paticipated in human and blood sacrifices. She tried undermining the Jews and destroying their culture. She is a very funny teacher but it is dissapointing to see hypocrisy from her.
