Course is pretty simple. The difficulty with this class is that it required a "cultural journal" which expected students to go out and participate in some non-school Francophone event. It was a bit difficult to get done, especially since I live so far from the city, but it isn't back-breaking work.

Reading books isn't as important as in a lot of the other FRA classes I've taken, which is a nice change of pace.

The professor is very enthusiastic in her own way, but sometimes feels detached from what the life of a student is like. She is great for in-class discussions and very understanding and lenient of hybrid and online work, which is a plus.

If you take this in the fall, go to a Francophone event held early in the semester to have something to write about!
