The course has a reputation as the definitive bird course. I would disagree, as the course is a bit more work than several other courses I could name off the top of my head. That being said, it is a decent elective that touches on a broad range of topics. You need to take lecture notes and read the textbook if you want the A+. There was only a 40% midterm and a 60% final, and they were all multiple choice, which was great.

The professor was okay. Her lectures were fairly engaging, and you will stay engaged by having to take notes.
