The material is just fine. The online book (which must be purchased to access the assignments) is incredibly thorough. Except it’s not. It gives you the core material, but good luck if you need any extra work. Journaling is the bread and butter of the accountant, correct? There’s virtually NO practice for journaling outside of what you can create yourself, or have your friends test you on.

The material covers all the basic requirements necessary to move onto the next phase of your accounting needs.

Incredibly knowledgeable. Shows up on time, asks us questions in class to see if we understand the material. Very fair.

That there’s no extra practice material, especially for journaling. If it’s such a vital part of being an accountant, why are we spending virtually no time on it? It was even brought up that students routinely “in previous classes” struggle with it. If it’s been documented that we struggle, why hasn’t the material, or better yet, the overly complex Textbook provider, given us practice assignments to work through, similar to the actual assignments, to make sure we’re doing things right before we actually do things?
