I learned more in this class than I did in any of my classes here at URI. This class was definitely a lot of work and the lab made it a lot with weekly lab reports and the use of R studio. Overall I would recommend taking it but be wear of the work load and time commitment

Dr. Putnam is probably the smartest professor I've ever had (its actually kind of intimidating) but she really does care about her students and loves when people come to office hours and participate. She can be hard to reach over email but she's always willing to help and is available after class and during office hours.

I wish I was a little bit more prepared for the work load before taking this class. Although it was a great class, you pretty much have every form of work imaginable in it.
