This course is really easy if you have ever written a lab report in your life. I feel like the only people who had a problem in this class didn't know how to write a lab report.
The content of this course was useful in determining that forensic science methods have a huge factor of bias in every single one. Every single lab there was discrepancy amongst group members because the results were not based on measurable values.
Kristi was the professor, but there was a TA that actually taught the lab. I never saw Kristi in this lab and the TAs change all the time.

This is probably the most useful class in the entire forensics program. You actually learn about the application of forensic science in real life.
Different professionals in the field come in to give you a presentation about their work specifially. This gave me a good view of what my options were in forensic science and how forensic science is actually used.
Kristi is great. Super nice and mostly accommodating.
I wish I knew I could repeat this course and get more elective credit for it. Like you can take the 3 hour couse for two semesters for 6 elective credits. I haven't had any other courses you can do that with, but I would definitely take it again instead of taking some stupidly difficult class with Bala or He.

This class was so easy I could get an A without showing up once. It needs to be an online class because there isn't too much point in showing up in person anyway.
The content I guess is useful, but it's nothing new. I hadn't learned some of the historical fun facts, but no one in real life cares about that stuff. I would add a section about why forensics is a widely critisized field because that would be more relevant and more interesting.
Professor is nice and was lenient on attendance. This is good because there is no point in going to class.
I wish I had known that forensic science is just fake science.

Prof: Kristi Johnson / Summer 2022

For a degree in Forensics, you must complete an internship related to forensic science and pay for three credit hours. Honestly, this is just so the university can get $1200 out of you during the summer. I feel like they should give you an internship on a silver platter for the way they require you to have one and pay for one (and any government internship will be unpaid btw).
The content of your internship varies by location. Mine wasn't super informative after the first week.
The professor is nice and does help you find an internship. No complaints here.
I wish I knew I had to take this before I decided to major in forensics.
