Peter McGuire is without a doubt the best instructor I've had at UVic to date. Not only is the class just really fun, but he is also the most compassionate, kind, and down-to-earth person. We did some improv skills, memorizing a monologue, but at the beginning of each class, we would sit in a circle and share how we were doing. If you were having a bad day (whether it was mentally or physically), he would be so understanding and tell you to skip class if it meant you could take care of yourself and do what was best for you. Just an all-around amazing professor and I can't recommend him enough. I took this class in my first semester in my first year and I honestly don't think I would have made it through if I didn't have this class to look forward to.
