Course has 3 main writing assignments. First two are solo, last one is group. Other writing assignments include several "Reading outlines" and "Journals." For the former you write summaries for the assigned readings, and for the latter you respond to the assigned readings. Keep in mind that the instructor said she lessened the workload for zoom classes, so you may have a greater workload. Course content is very eclectic. Topics range from UI design to diversity in tech, to smart cities and disaster relief. Some of the topics are very useful, such as the UI design and the cross-cultural analysis, but other topics are useless and boring.

Lefty-type, as you might expect. Is pro-censorship, anti-white, likes Che Guevara, etc. But she doesn't make it front & center, and encourages discussions in class, so the politics doesn't affect class too much which is quite nice.

Put effort into it and you should do well. She isn't that strict of a grader. Be sure to keep track of assignment due dates and start early on the major assignments. Don't pull an all-nighter like I did.
