Professor Yuan is very passionate about math, especially the ellipses. Webassign HW is tedious regardless of the instructor. There weren't many story problems on the midterms, but the final exam was EXTREMELY HARD. His lectures can be boring at times, so be ready to read the textbook all the way.

Limit and Differential Calculus

Start your HW early and read the textbook.

It's an ok course, try to get a good professor and make sure to read the textbook.

Integral techniques make up the entirety of the course, everything is integrals.

Professor Yuan definitely takes some getting used to (both in his style of presenting material and accent) but if you manage to understand what he's getting at, he offers very solid understanding of the material. He'll go through why the formulas are they way they are in detail. Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to grasp it because he'll go at a fast pace or make some logical leaps but he'll put up his notes and the textbook chapter can help fill in the gaps. He also has lectures before a midterm/final reviewing concepts and problems and then lectures after grades come out going over the test, which is really nice.

He says it himself, but at the very least preview the textbook chapter before every lecture.
