Very in depth and a lot of material. This course was very difficult for me as the name suggests since it was very theory based, you were expected to know proofs and various theorems off hand/ by practicing. Office hours were disappointing to say the least, the TA office hours were only offered once a week (virtually) as apart of the STAT tutoring lab, however they weren't always online or responsive during their scheduled time. Not a lot of resources aside from the textbook unless you actively search for it.
Content in the beginning of the semester is useful in the sense that it is an overview of foundational probability and distributions.
Handwrote everything on paper (not efficient and not best quality)
I would argue that doing well on the first two midterms ("well" being no less than a B/C+) to secure your place in the course as the Final Exam is crucial for your success in the course. Homeworks were expected to be submitted in a week timeframe, so take advantage of working over the weekend. Also they were lengthy so starting early would leave more time to ask questions in class or in office hours.
