As a civil engineering major, I do not enjoy chemistry and I did not find this class to be useful nor interesting. However, for a class I was not excited to take, it was very easy. Davit is an amazing person, and his exams were very straightforward. I highly recommend doing the practice exams that are provided in Canvas as they are extremely similar to the exams.

This is a class made specifically for engineering majors, so it does not go super in depth about chemistry topics. It is your typical general college chemistry class. I personally did not find the topics useful since I am a civil engineering major.

Davit is a great and kind person. However, I found myself having to teach a lot of the content myself. It isn't too difficult though, so I would not stress too much. The great thing about Davit is that he is extremely flexible and will work with you to help you succeed.

Do the practice exams on Canvas. The final is very similar to the exams given throughout the semester. It says this in the syllabus so it will not be a surprise, but attendance is somewhat mandatory since Davit does Top Hat quizzes. If you get 75% correct on the Top Hat quizzes at the end of the semester you will get a 100% for that portion of the grade, so don't stress about always attending or getting them correct.
