A100 with Dr. Burton was a great class. We learned about the concepts of American identity, exclusion from American identity, and what America/American means to different groups of people from varying humanities lenses. This course was a great introduction into American Studies. Success in this course almost entirely depends on your attendance and participation in daily discussions of the reading materials.

Dr. Burton is a great professor, I'm sad to see her go.
