This course has a reputation for being a clusterfuck. It's a really important topic, but they ruin it by being too theoretical then shifting to a project which you may not even be writing SQL for (it's an API/fullstack project, they told us to use Django)

Way too much theory of databases (theoretical query languages/styles), way too little actually useful stuff (SQL) Then they threw a project at us which had nothing to do with what we learned in a language they didn't teach

Not very engaging and a little rude
