Very similar to Che 501, mostly examples with little to no actual help from the professor, exams are significantly harder than any previously learned material.
Energy balances on chemical process, focus mostly on enthalpy and chemical reactions
Still terrible, still yelling at students for asking questions and not really providing much work when doing examples in class.
Read the book, study more than you think you need to. Review homework, recitations, and in-class notes however useless they may be.

Extremely difficult course, made more difficult by a less than adequate professor. Poor classroom examples and homework, exams significantly harder than anything seen in class, on homework, or in the book.
Material balances on chemical processes, in-class notes not nearly enough, be prepared to teach yourself the material outside of class.
Doesn't explain concepts, just gives example problems and the correct solutions, often times not even working through an entire problem leaving students to wonder how the correct answers were even obtained. She quickly grows frustrated when students do ask questions about these examples and even yells at the class for it.
Take the book seriously. So many classes at UNH sparsely use textbooks, but unless this material comes super naturally to you, the book is a must. Put the time in for studying, you'll thank yourself when you aren't staring at a half complete exam when turning it in.
