I really enjoyed this course, I found the material super interesting, it lines up well with medical school courses.
in lecture: tissue types, cell types, muscles and contraction, also focused on the cardiac and pulmonary systems. in lab: memorizing every bone, muscle, and organ in the body.
Dr. Crozier is a great professor, I have never had any issues with him. He takes ALL of his exam questions straight from “mylab and mastering” (the required website you purchase for the class) so make sure to memorize the quiz questions as well as look into the “dynamic study modules” section of the website for even more potential exam questions.
Make sure to set aside adequate time for this class, especially the attached lab portion! you can memorize every single bone in the body overnight!

You can not procrastinate in this class like most other classes if you want an A/B. If you have a full course schedule and/or work - especially in the summer? Be prepared to spend most of your free time and off days... and probably more, studying.
For the lab portion, the test came from slides and labeling models. The exam was book and lecture influenced, but very concept based in my opinion. You can't just memorize, you genuinely have to understand because the questions may be asked in a tricky way.
Martin was very accommodating and overall a good professor who wanted his students to pass. I'd also suggest Bianca as a TA she was very dedicated to explaining until you get the concepts, everything on her lab test could easily be found in the material she provided.
If you have access to the lab photos, go through it during the lab with your TA and actively label it, color coordinate, etc. so you can review it at home. DO NOT MISS ANY LABS, do not make that mistake.
